1. Service Agreement
By booking our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Gati Packers and Movers provides household shifting, car transport, bike transport, and storage services across India.
2. Booking & Payment
- Advance payment of 20-30% required for booking confirmation
- Balance payment due upon delivery
- Prices may vary based on actual volume and distance
- Cancellation within 48 hours: 10% cancellation fee
- Cancellation within 24 hours: 25% cancellation fee
3. Insurance Coverage
All goods are covered under transit insurance. Claims must be filed within 24 hours of delivery with proper documentation.
- Standard coverage: Up to ₹10,000 per article
- Premium coverage: Full declared value (additional charges apply)
- Fragile items must be declared in advance
4. Prohibited Items
We do not transport:
- Hazardous materials, explosives, firearms
- Illegal substances
- Perishable food items
- Live plants and animals
- Currency, jewelry (unless declared and insured)
5. Liability Limitations
Gati Packers is not responsible for:
- Delays due to weather, road conditions, or government restrictions
- Damage to items packed by the customer
- Pre-existing damage to goods
- Loss of undeclared valuable items
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory and address details
- Ensure someone is present during pickup and delivery
- Declare valuable and fragile items
- Check and sign delivery receipt
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Delhi, India, under Indian law.
